This module is intended to bring together all of the learning undertaken in the Advance Diploma programme and apply them in a working environment. Students will apply concepts and principles learned in other courses to real situation.
It is important to note that ALL students must complete an internship during their education experience with Raffles. This is one of the core points of distinction for all of our qualifications.
The student will study the nature of knowledge and information and its contribution to strategic planning, foresight and decision making in the business context. |
This module is designed to introduce business students to applied research methods and to facilitate students’ understanding of the role of research skills in business. Applied research has a practical problem-solving emphasis which responses to solving business problems through research processes to identify answers to specific research questions. In this view, the research processes enable students to generate, refine and evaluate potential bushiness solutions.
Aims: This course has been developed to promote an understanding of key concepts of quality management as it applies to today’s organisations. Students will be exposed to the different frameworks of studying operations management and production as organisational functions. Topics covered include the survey of forecasting methods, production planning, inventory management, quality management, project management, supply chain management and JIT manufacturing
